I've always had a deep passion for crafting and writing short stories, and I believe that every ceremony deserves to be beautifully articulated and special. With this philosophy in mind, I founded Celebrations by Shelby - a wedding officiant business in New York City built around one idea: every ceremony should be completely your own.
Since founding Celebrations by Shelby, I've gained many valuable connections with industry-leading vendors and experts across the NYC wedding community. I hold my clients and their ceremony aspirations with the utmost respect - the heart of my planning process is bringing your vision to life.
It has been a privilege and delight to marry over 100 couples throughout my career as a wedding officiant in NYC. I am ordained through the Universal Life Church and am a certified Meditation Instructor through The Mindry.

Based in Brooklyn, I work closely with you to get to know you and your partner's personalities, love story, and desires prior to your wedding day - as your NYC wedding officiant and NYC elopement officiant, whether it's an intimate Central Park elopement, a courthouse ceremony, or a full wedding celebration.
